GOMA Symposium – FUELS 2026
We are proud to announce the 57th GOMA Symposium – FUELS 2026, which will be held at the Amadria Park – Hotel Ivan in Šibenik, Croatia, from 21 to 23 October 2026.
The city of Šibenik, one of the oldest native Croatian towns on the Adriatic, is renowned for its rich cultural heritage and maritime tradition. Its most famous landmark, the Cathedral of St. James, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a unique monument of Renaissance architecture. Surrounded by national parks and islands, Šibenik offers visitors an authentic Mediterranean atmosphere and an attractive environment for professional networking and exchange of knowledge.
The Symposium will focus on current developments, technological innovations and regulatory challenges in the fuels sector, providing a valuable platform for experts from industry, academia and public institutions to share experience and discuss the future of fuels and energy.

The 56th
Lubricants & Base Oils Symposium – 2025
organised by the Croatian Society for Fuels and Lubricants (GOMA), was successfully held from 12 to 14 November 2025 at the Dubrovnik Palace Hotel in Dubrovnik, Croatia.
The Symposium brought together experts and professionals from 22 countries, confirming its status as an established international platform for the exchange of knowledge and discussion of current technological, regulatory and sustainability challenges in the lubricants industry.

What we do?
Events
One of the most important activities of GOMA is organizing an international symposium once a year, on fuels and/or on lubricants.
Publishing
Publishing of the journal Fuels & Lubricants is the second important continuous activity of the Society.
