The 53rd GOMA Symposium – FUELS 2020 postponed for October 2021

We are very sorry to inform you that despite all our efforts and support from our authors and sponsors, due to the COVID-19 situation in Croatia and Europe the 53rd GOMA Symposium – FUELS 2020 is POSTPONED for October 2021
We will share more information about the plans for the 53rd GOMA Symposium – FUELS as the situation with the pandemic will be improved.
We especially want to thank all the authors that have submitted their papers for GOMA’s 53rd Symposium. All accepted papers will be also accepted for the next symposium and all the authors contacted separately.

2019 Regular Electoral Assembly

The Regular Electoral Assembly of the Croatian Society for Fuels and Lubricants was held on November 27th, 2019. The duty holders have been elected to the GOMA governing bodies for a four-year term.

52nd Lubricants & Base Oils Symposium – 2019

16-18 October 2019, Hotel Esplanade, Zagreb, Croatia

This year’s 52nd “Lubricants & Base Oils Symposium – 2019”, organised by the Croatian Society for Fuels and Lubricants – GOMA, was held from 16 to 18 October 2019 in the Emerald Ballroom of the Esplanade Hotel in Zagreb. This event was organized in collaboration with the European Lubricating Grease Institute – ELGI, from Amsterdam, for the third time. The event is also covered by international media: LNG Publishing Company Inc. (USA), Lube Media (UK), F + L Asia (Hong Kong), Active Communications International, Inc. – ACI (UK), and Lubricant World (Turkey).

The symposium was opened with welcome speeches by Bruno Novina, President of GOMA and Terry Dicken, Chairman of ELGI. On behalf of the Gold Sponsor, participants were greeted by Davor Mayer, Member of the Management Board of INA d.d. This event attracted participants from 26 countries and 88 organizations.

The sponsors of the symposium were INA d.d. as Gold Sponsor, while other sponsors and exhibitors were John Hogg, Arteco NV, Nynas AB, McDermott, IMCD, BASF, Koehler Instrument, Lehmann & Voss & Co. and Clariant.

The symposium was co-funded by the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Croatia.
